Frequently asked questions
Can I see the art BEFORE I pay?
Ummm... I would love to show everyone how amazing their art will look before purchasing because my art is that stunning. However, I would be flooded with requests for free looks. Until I can pay the bills with free looks, I'll have to charge for time invested.
Look across my store and find me on social media. Take a peek at the quality of the work I have delivered. You will LOVE what I custom create just for you. Plus, you get to review your art and approve BEFORE it goes into production.
Can I change the address after I order?
NO. But I’ll try. If UPS is able to make a change, the buyer is responsible for any additional UPS charges. Orders are not refunded or replaced if successfully shipped to the original address on the Etsy order.
Can I change my order (size, format, background, font)?
At the art proof stage. No changes once you approve the art as your canvas goes directly into production.
What can be customized?
Typically anything art related.
For pet and animal portraits, can I change the photo used?
For a fee $$$. My portraits are almost always based on a single photo that you select. If you determine that you want a different photo used (because of detail, pose, color etc) or use a new photo to add detail missing in the original reference photo after I've created your art proof, you may incur an additional charge of up to $40 per new photo/illustration.
What’s your cancelation/refund/replacement policy?
For home decor, you may cancel up to the art proof stage for any reason. Once you approve, the art immediately goes into production with my canvas provider and cannot be cancelled.
For pet portraits, up to a $40 fee per pet shall be charged if canceled during the art stage. No cancellations once the canvas process starts as I can’t reuse your personalized art. That would be weird. If you fail to respond, I'll refund your money minus $40 per pet. So if your purchase was $100, I'll refund you $60 ($100 - $40).
If your canvas arrives damaged, I’ll replace it without question. Contact me ASAP and share photos of the shipping carton and canvas to coordinate a replacement.
What’s your secret?
Hamsters. I have dozens of them trained to create each art piece. I’m joking… maybe. Actually I use a Wacom Cintiq, an upgraded MacBook Pro, iPad Pro and Adobe CC - some of the same tools and techniques artists at the studios use (including Disney). Simply hand drawn just like pencil on paper. But did I mention I have hamsters 😎.
Are your service dogs really at Disney?
More than me. And Tater had his own name tag when he worked at Disney. Now he works at Universal. It might appear cool to have your pet at Disney - please don’t. The parks are hot, over stimulating and stressful for most. It takes us months of continuous training visits to desensitize them to all of the noises, people and distractions.
How Do You Ship?
It depends upon the size - UPS Ground and UPS Mail Innovations
