Drift away on a sea of yarn and stitches! The Adrift Wrap is rhythmic and relaxing, with gentle solid rows interspersed with sections of color and texture. The contrast ebbs and flows, with the same handful of techniques used to create inlets in a variety of colors, textures, and sizes.
The Adrift Wrap uses crossed stitches, basic lace, and hdc in the third loop combined in a number of ways, which makes it best suited to adventurous beginners or crocheters with more advanced skills.

**Yarn, Yardage, and Colors**
The pattern calls for 2750yds/2515m/575g fingering weight yarn total; 550yds/503m/115g in each of 5 colors. The sample is shown in fingering weight, but the pattern works in anything from a lace to a worsted - though it will need to be adjusted for size if worked in a different weight. It’s designed for a five-color set, but can be made in any number of colors. It’s adjustable to work with any yardage and number of colors. Colors A, B, and C can be any color style from variegated to solid. Colors D and E show up best when worked in a solid that contrasts well with the other three colors. The wrap is very textured and works best in a base that shows texture well.

**Overview of the Finished Object**
The Adrift Wrap is a large rectangular wrap with seven sections. The texture and colors mirror around the center so that the sections are colors A, B, C, the center, C, B, A. There’s a large lace edging on either end of the wrap. The wrap has contrast stripes throughout, with a variety of texture and some lace.

**Printing**
The pattern includes large color photos on the first page and the last six pages.
**Accessibility**
The main pattern pdf is designed to be screen reader compatible. The text is all in one column and headers are formatted according to the style sheet. The pattern is written out and the images have descriptive alt text. Please note that the pattern uses standard abbreviations (like dc, sc, ch, and st) rather than fully writing out each word. The pattern includes sections that need to be repeated and require scrolling back to the original section, but the first row of each of the sections is set as a header for screen readers.
The written instructions are color-blind accessible and do not use any colors except black and white. The chart uses multiple colors, with the stitches shaded based on the color the pattern calls for.
