The Seed Stitch Headband or SSC Headband for short is a beautiful accessory for winter. It's perfect for anyone who doesn't like to wear a hat during winter time, or if you need some protection from the cold for your ears, but really don't want to muss your hair up!
This headband works wonderfully for both up-dos or leaving your hair down.
The seed stitch element on the cables gives that extra little detail to really make the headband pop! Great for an early Christmas gift!
This headband is quick and easy and only takes up between 1/3 to 1/2 of a skein of Caron Simply soft yarn. But, don't limit yourself to only using the yarn I suggest! This accessory can be made in an unlimited variety of yarns from acrylic to marino wool! Best if made in a medium weight 4 worsted style yarn, but honestly, it would probably look gorgeous in an aran weight, or maybe even bulky weight!
This headband is also easily size to your head. Pattern contains directions for how to get the size you need and also a **full chart**.
**What you need:** other than yarn, for this piece you'll need a cable needle and also a button to fasten the back.
