The price for sterling pieces is way, way, WAY more because of the cost of the materials - This is a great, and beautiful alternative!

-------- WHAT IS LASER ENGRAVING --------

Laser engraving is a process that actually removes material. The darkened portions are not painted. This darkening is from the lasering process, which changes the chemical composition of the material, resulting in a permanent marking.

The coloring of laser engraved material depends of the material itself and the lighting. At some angles, the engraved areas will look brown/black/dark brown, while at other angles it will look jet black.
