Cobblers Barn is a wonderful stone-built, detached 16th century barn conversion with a hot tub, situated within the village of Mickleton, within easy reach of Barnard Castle.

Bright and cheery throughout and offering pleasant views, guests will find plenty of space in which to relax and unwind, with each of the rooms offering the luxury of underfloor heating.

The large living room in this Mickleton cottage has beautiful oak flooring; split into two areas, the furniture is based around the 47inch flat screen TV, with another set of furniture around the woodburning stove for those chilly evenings.

The kitchen/diner provides an excellent space to gather together over dinner and discuss the events of the day.

A ground floor master bedroom with super king-size bed and lovely en-suite, and another master bedroom of similar size and layout can be found upstairs along with a twin room and a family room, both sharing a large family bathroom.

Each of the bedrooms are enhanced by original features, including A-frame oak beams, and offer a comfortable night's rest.

This Teesdale cottage is situated in a lovely hamlet location and is ideally placed for exploring the historic town of Barnard Castle, with its cobbled streets, Victorian architecture, independent shops and antique centres.

Middleton-in-Teesdale 2 miles; Barnard Castle 8 miles.

The small hamlet of Mickleton is situated in the heart of beautiful Teesdale, close to the villages of Romaldkirk and Middleton in Teesdale and within a few miles of the market town of Barnard Castle. Mickleton itself consists of a cluster of stone houses along a single street and offers one pub along with a petrol station/garage. Beautiful walking country is right on the doorstep with The Pennine and Teesdale Ways, The River Tees and magnificent waterfalls at High Force all close by. There are also excellent cycling facilities in The Dale and Hamsterley Forest.
