This downloadable pdf pattern has detailed step-by-step instructions that are accompanied by high quality photos of the process.
The pattern includes photo tutorials on how to make a magic ring, invisible decreases in single crochet, color changes in single crochet, closing small rounds and invisible finishes.

The dachshund is crocheted from bottom to top. The legs are crocheted on. The ears, head and tail are sewn on. The nose is embroidered.

Required materials and tools:

- Cotton yarn in a DK / light worsted weight in 2 different colors
- 2.5mm crochet hook / Size B-1 or C-2 depending on how tightly you crochet
- 5mm safety eyes or black embroidery floss
- Black embroidery floss
- Fiberfill
- Stitch markers
- Yarn needle
- Large eyed sewing needle
- Scissors

If using the recommended yarn weight and hook size your amigurumi sausage dog will be about 2.25" / 5.5cm tall and 2.5" / 6cm long.

Just received the download. The pattern really goes into detail and should be very easy to follow. I’m anxious to get started. I really wanted to download the Little Bird also but couldn’t find the pattern for it. I need to make a sparrow for one of the kids.
