About the Owner and Artist

Giusiana is a multimedia artist who lives and works outside of the Seattle area. She has always been the kind of person who loves expressing herself through art. She would illustrate her artistic nature from a very young age; from sketching, to watercolors, to capturing the beauty around her in acrylic paint.

Most of her life, and worsening at about 12 years old she has struggled with multiple chronic illnesses, some which only worsen with age. In 2017, at age 14, she was diagnosed with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, the most painful disease known to mankind, incurable and everlasting. In the following years she received the diagnoses of a rare genetic connective tissue disorder, along with multiple comorbid conditions. Since then, she has sought to use her gift for art as therapy for herself and to inspire others with both the beauty's and sorrows life has to offer.
"Art is a therapy," she says; "it's one of the only ways i can show people what it's like"

Giusiana is self-taught, and works mostly with acrylic and ink pen, but is always experimenting and exploring new techniques.
