How to Measure for a Flexible Bracelet:

Measure your wrist (snugly, but not too tightly) just below the wrist bone using a flexible tape measure (the kind used by seamstresses), a strip of paper or a string. Mark the point where either overlap. Measure your marked strip of paper to determine your wrist size.

Add:
1” to your wrist size for a ‘comfort’ fit
1 ½” for a more ‘relaxed’ fit
It may be helpful to measure a favorite bracelet to establish what you already find comfortable.

If all else fails, measure a favorite bracelet that you own that is comfortable on your wrist.

►Sterling Silver
Sterling silver is an alloy of silver containing 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper, hence the description .925. I use nickel free sterling silver.

►Argentium Silver
Argentium silver is a sterling silver alloy which modifies the traditional alloy (92.5% silver + 7.5% copper) by replacing some of the copper with germanium. As it contains at least 92.5% silver content of the traditional alloy, it is still referred to as sterling silver. Many people who are allergic to copper find argentium silver much more comfortable to wear.

►Fine Silver
Also referred to as pure silver. Fine silver contains 99.9% silver. The 1% balance contains trace amounts of impurities.

✿ Gold Plated
Base metal (steel or brass) is dipped into electroplating solution containing a lump of gold. An electric current is applied and a thin layer of gold is deposited on the metal. Since the plating is quite thin, the plate (and hence the color) can wear off.

✿ Gold Vermeil
Sterling silver that has been gold-plated. (Pronounced Vermay)

✿ Gold Filled
Base metal (usually brass) covered by sheets of gold using a mechanical bonding process. Gold content is 5% or 1/20 of the total weight; generally 14k gold. It is hard wearing and with reasonable care, will not peel or flake. Should last as long as solid 14k gold jewelry. Also known as rolled gold.
Gold filled jewelry has 100x more gold than gold filled.

✿ 20 gauge (sterling silver)
✿ 20 gauge (argentium silver)
✿ 21 gauge (gold filled)

Different gauges are available upon request for most styles of earrings.

Shipments travelling outside of Canada sometimes take longer to arrive than stated by Canada Post. These delays are usually due to customs clearance backlogs in the recipient country.

Processing Time:
The amount of time it takes me to handcraft the item that you have ordered. This countdown starts the day after your order is placed, and includes week days only.
Most of my items have a 1 - 3 day processing time.

Shipping Time:
Once an item has been put in the mail, the shipping time is the amount of time Canada Post estimates it will take to get your package from my place to yours.
Sadly, delays while at customs of the receiving country are becoming more frequent. And as upsetting as these delays might be, they are completely up to your country's customs officers.
