• "We enjoyed a wonderful few days at the property, very dog friendly with enclosed secure garden for dog to enjoy."

  Jeremy was a wonderful host on hand to make our time at the barn perfect, making sure we had everything we needed for the baby. The property was very clean, well maintained and very comfortable with everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful setting, eating at local pubs and long country walks with loads of places to explore. We definitely want to return for another perfect stay.

• "We had a very relaxing week at the barn."

  Great facilities and good location for exploring Suffolk. The barn is a unique property and was always very warm despite the cold weather. There is an EV charger on site dedicated for the barn guests which worked flawlessly for overnight charging. Jeremy is a great host. A lovely welcome package and endless supply of fuel for the log burner was very much appreciated. Highly recommended.

• "Wow, what an incredible place this is."

  This is our second time visiting and we could not recommend this enough. The barn is decorated to such a high standard with the most comfortable sofas and bed. The log burner on winter nights is so relaxing and warms the place up nicely. It's immaculately clean with no signs of wear & tear. Very dog and baby friendly too, we didn't have to bring a travel cot thanks to Jeremy being so accommodating. Of all the places we have stayed, this is by far the best. Jeremy does so much to make your stay perfect, he is an exceptional host and you can see why Manor Barn has won awards as it's just fantastic. The setting is perfect, you're in the middle of nowhere, it's so peaceful but you're not too far from a local town for groceries, pubs etc. Do not hesitate in booking, you will not regret it! We look forward to our 3rd visit in the future.

• "Manor barn is a lovely place to stay , it’s quiet and peaceful, waking up to the birds in the garden was nice ."

  I would recommend this property to others to stay , it’s clean and plenty of room so I could move around easily in my wheelchair. I would like to say the mattress need changing as not very comfortable. Jeremy was a great host nothing was to much trouble, he was very happy to help us with what ever help we needed. So I would definitely go back . Suffolk is a great place to visit , and southwold is so nice, great fish and chips ,thanks for a great holiday at manor barn.

• "The most beautiful barn conversion and the most accommodating hosts."

  We thoroughly enjoyed our week here, with bbqs most evenings in the garden after spending most days on the beach. The children loved the garden and space aswell, and were entertained by the guinea fowl! We look forward to coming back for future summer holidays.

• "We spent a fabulous week at Jeremy’s beautiful converted barn."

  Everything about it is carefully thought through, so as soon as we arrived we felt as though we were valued and welcome. The peaceful, completely tranquil setting is perfect. Beds comfortable and with crisp quality bedding. The bathroom is perfect. Jeremy is a delightful man, he goes the extra mile to ensure that his guests are made to feel welcome….he even brought me over a guitar! We will definitely return…

• "I can't fault the owners, especially welcoming & nice people."

  Bathroom extractor could do with a service (vacuum & oil the bearing). The fly problem needs resolving, somehow? Kept me awake most nights.

I'm so sorry you had flies in the barn, it's really rather difficult to resolve as it's a natural consequence of being in a barn in the countryside. • "Our second stay at this fabulous accommodation."

  This time we took our daughter and son-in-law with us and they were equally impressed. We loved the little extras like the emergency torches & the board games and it’s great that it’s dog friendly too. It’s so nice to find somewhere that’s peaceful. Definitely want to visit again. • "Lovely characterful barn with all the essentials for our stay."

  Comfortable bedrooms and well equipped kitchen. Lots of information to help with sightseeing. Beautiful enclosed, secure garden to enjoy (especially by our dog Cooper). We spent many a relaxing hour in the garden enjoying the peaceful countryside. Great walks from the barn along quiet lanes. Jeremy our host was very accommodating and went out of his way to make our stay extremely pleasurable. We are already planning our return next year.

• "Wonderful stay."

  Close to ample points of interest for days out. The hosts thought of the little extras that you may need eg torches, fly spray , the list goes on. The garden was extremely secure for our dog and she loved sitting outside watching the wildlife- even on a rainy day or two. It was bliss to sleep in luxurious surroundings with no road noise at any point of the day. The welcome tray was thoughtfully put together and our hosts communication was exceptional.

• "Jeremy very pleasant man."

  Property was fantastic. Wasn’t happy about having to ask to use the washing machine! We love spiders but I think they need some attention. Overall we had a really lovely stay in this property, and would recommend it.

• "A wonderful holiday retreat in rural Suffolk!"

  Manor House Barn is a striking, beautifully restored building providing a historic / rural setting, yet with every modern comfort and convenience. The accomodation and facilities are perfect for a family of 4, in our case with two large dogs, who had the benefit of a good-sized enclosed garden to play in. The setting is a mile or so from a lovely village providing basic facilities, with Waitrose and more facilities about 15 minutes away. Jeremy is a very considerate host, with excellent communication before and during the trip, on hand if there were any problems (there weren't!), but respectful of privacy and happy to just let us "be", which is our preference! The location is good for exploring the Suffolk coastline, being only about 10 mins from the A12, yet completely peaceful. We had a thoroughly relaxing break, some days not leaving the property as it was so comfortable and homely. We would thoroughly recommend, and would hope to return for another stay some day, as this is a high-quality and great value holiday home.

• "We have just returned from an excellent week's stay at the Manor House Barn."

  The Barn is beautiful and just as described - set in a lovely quiet position with lots of footpaths close to the house and in a prime position in Suffolk allowing you to visit all areas of the county . The barn was excellent for our dogs with an enclosed garden for them to explore. Jeremy the owner lives next door and was very helpful when needed. The barn is well furnished and contains everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Would highly recommend this lovely quirky very comfortable property.

• "Great stay in a beautiful remote location."

  Plenty of interesting places to visit within a 30 to 45 minute drive - Southwold was our favourite. Accommodation is well equipped, very clean and extremely comfortable. Owners close at hand and welcoming with endless supply of logs for the open fire.

  We stayed with our 1 year old and Labrador and it was a perfect base for our exploration of beautiful Suffolk. The host, Jeremy, was really welcoming. Communication both before and during our stay in was really good and helpful. The barn is even better than the photos. The most beautiful place we’ve stayed. The garden was perfect for the dog. Everything in the barn has been thought out and we felt really at home there. We were gutted to be leaving. Would definitely return in the future.

• "We were absolutely blown away when we walked into this beautiful Barn, even better than in the photos."

  It was a real home from home, with everything you need. Jeremy & Lynne have thought of absolutely everything so that you have the most amazing time there. The log fire was awesome, so lovely and cozy in the evening, with Jeremy’s wood elves replenishing the log box as often as necessary. This place oozes character and whether you choose to do absolutely nothing but relax for the week (like us) or use it as a base, it’s the best choice you will ever make . Thanks Jeremy & Lynne x

• "Beautiful place to stay with dogs."

  They were able to run free in the enclosed garden . The garden as well as the barn was extremely well equiped to make a stay as comfortable as possible with everything you could want provided as well as a few extras. We initially found locating the Manor House and Barn difficult because the sat nav tried to take us anywhere but the right place. Fortunately the kindly owner of the renowned butchers/delicatesion was very helpful and told us exactly where to go. The store/Post Office were friendly and the cafe served delicious food. The location was not too far from worthwhile places to visit. If you want to explore that area we would thoroughly recommend staying at the Manor Barn

• "The barn was fantastic."

  Peaceful location and well positioned to explore the surrounding area. Jeremy (the owner) was extremely helpful and we did not have any issues at all during our week long stay. Our dogs particularly liked all of the open countryside surrounding the barn as well as the beautiful beaches at Southwold and Winterton on Sea. Thoroughly recommend you stay at MHB.

  This is a fabulous Barn convention full of character, very comfortable with every convenience provided . Importantly to us it has a truly secure enclosed garden for the dogs and walks accessed immediately from the property plus an easy safe walk into Peasenhall which has a fantastic deli, cafe’s, and an interiors shop. • "Wow, what a stunning barn!"

  Thank you so much Jeremy for allowing us to stay with our 2 dogs. The barn is finished to such a high standard, and is so cosy! Jeremy is by far the best host we have ever had when staying in a holiday cottage. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The garden is fully encolsed, so we had no worries of our dogs getting out. The location of the barn is stunning, in the middle of the countryside with beautiful views to look out on when you wake up. There was parking for our car and all the amenities you could need. Smart TV with Netflix, iPlayer, etc, so we never got bored when we wanted to relax at the barn one day. We couldn't reccomend this enough, we would love to return. You will not be dissapointed if you book this!

• "A wonderful barn in a super setting."

  The derail and welcome was perfect. We explored the area and spent lots of time relaxing in the brilliant barn. Definitely will recommend to our friends and hope to book again for ourselves.

  We had a very comfortable, relaxing stay Everything was great for us and our 2 dogs Jeremy, the owner was very friendly , generous and helpful The situation of the barn was perfect for us, quiet and peaceful but still convenient for shopping and visiting places of interest The towels, bedding etc were of a good quality and plentiful WIFI WAS FINE we really hope to return in the not too distant future

• "Wonderful stay in this wonderful barn!"

  So remote and peaceful and beautiful night skies! Very well equipped and really safe for dogs having the fenced garden area. Would recommend to anyone. Had a truly delightful stay! My only feedback was there was no internet connection to the tv so we could only watch freeview and resorted to buying dvds to watch…we love nothing more than snuggling on the sofa of an evening and a smart tv with access to current viewing options would be an added bonus. But we appreciate not everyone would feel the need for this!
