These individually handmade Christmas nativity figures feature Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus, two shepherds and three wise men. This is the dark skin listing.

Each figure is made from layers of recycled heavy paper strips coated with resin as the base, wooden heads, authentic African kitenge fabric for clothing, twine for headgear and recycled sticks and wood for gifts and staffs. They are durably constructed.

8 pieces include Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus with a sea shell manger, two shepherds, and three wise men. Figures are approximately 4.5-5.5 inches tall.

The unique colorful kitenge cloth adds a personal touch to each figure. No two nativity sets are exactly alike. Occasionally, two figures in the same set (but no more than two) may be clothed in the same kitenge fabric. (See photos one through four.) Most sets have a unique fabric for each figure.

Wonderful gift for family or friends. Adults or children will enjoy the creativity of these pieces and the story they tell. They are durable. Most children, aged five and older, can play with the figures over and over again, without them breaking. This has been tested! :)

Our packing consists of the pieces of the nativity set nestled between two heavy cardboard meat trays, then wrapped securely, then placed in a padded mailer. May also be sent in a heavy cardboard box. No breakages reported either way.
