Our tour guide, Tammy was amazing! Super fun and made the trip! Had about 1 hour and 40 minutes to enjoy Muir woods. Highly recommend. We had to change plans last minute for pickup and the staff easily assisted us without issue.

Had a great time!

Tour was super easy to book and communicate with staff. My boyfriend and I did the bus tour to Muir woods from the Zaphry hotel and then elected to book a ferry from Sausalito back to Pier 39. We parked in the pier 39 parking structure (cost $60) and then walked to the hotel. Our tour guide, Tammy was amazing! Super fun and made the trip! Had about 1 hour and 40 minutes to enjoy Muir woods. Highly recommend. We had to change plans last minute for pickup and the staff easily assisted us without issue. Had a great time!!

Dustin was our tour guide, and he was very laid back, informative and very caring towards his tourists, as well as friendly and chatty with his guests. It was fantastic to just sit back and relax and not have anything to worry about , since I had just experienced exhausting travel delays.

Great experience!

Overnight and long layover in San Francisco. Definitely did not want to spend the day in the city. Was very happy that I could book the afternoon tour of Muir Woods and Sausalito a few hours before it began. They called me straight away to confirm and also helped me on the phone find the pick up spot which was obscure, no street number and no tour signage at the Hilton Hotel, Union Square location. Dustin was our tour guide, and he was very laid back, informative and very caring towards his tourists, as well as friendly and chatty with his guests. It was fantastic to just sit back and relax and not have anything to worry about , since I had just experienced exhausting travel delays. Great experience being with the trees, getting an ice cream in Sausalito and driving around San Francisco. Dustin was very generous with his restaurant recommendations, even offering to text a spreadsheet of them!

Our trip to Monterrey and Carmel had perfect weather and an excellent tour guide in Frank. We had a small group so it was easy to ask questions along the way and stop at scenery highlights enroute. Frank was very knowledgeable and very entertaining providing us very interesting information not only about our main two stops but about multiple locations along the way. Strongly recommend using Extranomical for your Monterrey tour.

The excursion is well worth it. A full day experience. Pick up in the morning was on time. Time well spent. The guide was friendly and attentive. I recommend booking the tour with lunch included to make the most of the lunch hour.

We used Extranomical for a day trip to Yosemite from San Francisco and it was incredible! It is a really long day, but Ben, our tour guide was outstanding and the extra surprise stop off at Treasure Island for sunset views of the city, Golden Gate and Alcatraz was a truly magnificent way to cap the day off.

What a great experience! We toured Yosemite on one of the busiest days of the year — Presidents’ Day holiday when the firefall was expected. Our tour guide, Rob, was outstanding in adjusting to make sure we saw everything despite the craziness. My teenage daughter and I loved being driven around without worrying about traffic. And – best part – Rob was a great photographer and lined up all of the perfect “Ansel Adams” shots. Highly recommended as a great way to see Yosemite from San Francisco without any stress. Shout out to Rob for being such a great tour guide. This was an excellent experience all around. (Note: We didn’t see the sequoias, but we booked the winter tour so we weren’t expecting them.)

Our day trip to Yosemite with Andy was truly excellent. He was a safe, courteous driver and very knowledgeable without giving us too much info (and absolutely no corny jokes). The background music on the comfortable coach was especially nice in both selection and volume. We appreciated both the restroom and food breaks at a spot with our choice of several restaurants and a full-service grocery store. If you’ve ever been a captive audience on a tour (especially those connected with a cruise ship) you’ll especially appreciate all of the above. No stops at a relative’s cafe, or shop, or the dreaded muu muu factory! What a treat not to have to rent a car, pay for gas, deal with traffic, road maps or a GPS, hunt for parking, etc. We both thought the price was reasonable for a very full day. Prior to the trip, the Extranomical staff provided all the information we needed, and promptly answered all our questions either via e-mail or phone. We highly recommend the company and our guide.

Fun day!

Fun day in Muir Woods and Wineries My husband and I loved our tour of the Muir Woods, Napa, and Sonoma. Our guide Doug was fabulous! He gave us a great tour around the city while picking up our tour goers and told us so much about the redwoods and the wine making in the region. The drive was beautiful. Muir Woods was stunning and we had a good amount of time to explore there. The wineries were all delicious and we learned so much about the process of wine making and how to fully enjoy wine tasting. It was a great day!

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour!!!! Dustin is a rock star tour guide, perfect mix of informative, humorous, and accommodating. The stop in Muir Woods was fantastic and the 3 wineries we visited were wonderful. Beautiful scenery and each winery was very welcoming and the wine was wonderful. I’d suggest guests upgrade to the gourmet lunch option. After lunch, we had time to walk around Sonoma Square and mix with the locals. This tour was a great value for the price. Don’t hesitate! Book it!!!!

Our tour guide, Tammy was amazing! Super fun and made the trip! Had about 1 hour and 40 minutes to enjoy Muir woods. Highly recommend. We had to change plans last minute for pickup and the staff easily assisted us without issue.

Had a great time!

Tour was super easy to book and communicate with staff. My boyfriend and I did the bus tour to Muir woods from the Zaphry hotel and then elected to book a ferry from Sausalito back to Pier 39. We parked in the pier 39 parking structure (cost $60) and then walked to the hotel. Our tour guide, Tammy was amazing! Super fun and made the trip! Had about 1 hour and 40 minutes to enjoy Muir woods. Highly recommend. We had to change plans last minute for pickup and the staff easily assisted us without issue. Had a great time!!

Dustin was our tour guide, and he was very laid back, informative and very caring towards his tourists, as well as friendly and chatty with his guests. It was fantastic to just sit back and relax and not have anything to worry about , since I had just experienced exhausting travel delays.

Great experience!

Overnight and long layover in San Francisco. Definitely did not want to spend the day in the city. Was very happy that I could book the afternoon tour of Muir Woods and Sausalito a few hours before it began. They called me straight away to confirm and also helped me on the phone find the pick up spot which was obscure, no street number and no tour signage at the Hilton Hotel, Union Square location. Dustin was our tour guide, and he was very laid back, informative and very caring towards his tourists, as well as friendly and chatty with his guests. It was fantastic to just sit back and relax and not have anything to worry about , since I had just experienced exhausting travel delays. Great experience being with the trees, getting an ice cream in Sausalito and driving around San Francisco. Dustin was very generous with his restaurant recommendations, even offering to text a spreadsheet of them!

Entertaining guide!

Our trip to Monterrey and Carmel had perfect weather and an excellent tour guide in Frank. We had a small group so it was easy to ask questions along the way and stop at scenery highlights enroute. Frank was very knowledgeable and very entertaining providing us very interesting information not only about our main two stops but about multiple locations along the way.
