Firstly, I have never tried macrame before. I purchased multiple of these kits to make as Christmas gifts. Everything needed for assembly was included. Also provided, was a card with 2 QR codes that would either direct to a YouTube video for directions you could follow along to, and another for written instructions. It was slow going at first, but between the 2 sources I was able to get mine completed. Since each of the ornaments are different within the kit, if you are not very familiar with macrame, you will need to reference the directions quite a bit.
