Relic Wood was originally meant to be a "someday" dream retirement hobby for Alexander County natives Micah & Melissa Breden. After growing extremely tired of seeing local manufacturing plants for furniture close and then send those local jobs overseas, in 2013 they tirelessly pursued creating a business that captured the essence of the American Dream.

As a Veteran Owned American family business, Relic Wood decided to put sentimental, heirloom quality, personalized products and excellent customer service as their top priorities. Each one is handcrafted by tight knit group of talented local craftsmen in our woodworking shop in Taylorsville NC.

Fast forward to 2022. We now have over 10 employees earning an honest living, and tens of thousands of satisfied customers who have purchased our beautiful personalized gifts when they wanted something truly unique to give to the most important people in their lives.
