Welcome to my shop! I’m Anne Thomas, creator of Blizzy Bingo. I created my first computer bingo game a number of years ago, while planning my family’s yearly Christmas party. That year I wanted to organize a Christmas themed bingo game for all of us to play. I needed over 100 bingo cards. (My grandparents had 4 children + 20 grandchildren + 53 great grandchildren + spouses which equals a lot of bingo cards.) I searched the Internet for a program that would generate the bingo cards that I envisioned. In addition, I wanted to be able to show the items called in the game on a call board, and using a projector, display the call board on a large screen for everyone to see. But, no such luck. Was I discouraged? I was, however, a tiny light bulb went off in my head. Could I create this game? I have skills, but this would definitely be a challenge. And, a challenge it was.

By the time of our Christmas party, I had managed to create a bingo game for us to play. Okay, it wasn’t exactly what I had envisioned, but I was able to generate the bingo cards, and I did manage to have a call board. What did matter was everyone had fun.

Creating my first bingo game invigorated me. Could I create a bingo game in which I could use any list of words? And more challenging yet, could I create a bingo game that used pictures instead of numbers or words? I wasn’t sure, I really wasn’t sure. But I wasn’t going to know unless I tried.

Well, after several years of trial and error, I am pleased to say that I finally have a product that I am happy with, and that I would like to share with you. I hope everyone who plays any of my Blizzy Bingo games has as much fun as my family did that Christmas a number of years ago.
