Store your herbs in clean, airtight containers, away from heat and light, and handle them thoughtfully. Amber glass jars with airtight lids are ideal. You might also keep them in a dark cupboard or drawer in the original packaging, sealed tightly while not in use.

The shelf life of herbs will vary according to the form and plant part. Those that have been cut or powdered have more surface area exposed to the air and can lose their flavor more rapidly than whole herbs. Here are our general guidelines:

-Whole/Cut Leaves & Flowers: 1 to 2 years
-Powdered Leaves & Flowers: 1 year
-Whole/Cut Seeds & Barks: 2 to 3 years
-Powdered Seeds & Barks: 1 year
-Whole/Cut Roots: 3 years
-Powdered Roots: 2 years

We use only the highest quality herbs we can find. Herbs are nature's medicine, and may interact with current medications you may be on. We recommend that everyone do their own research to check for drug interactions and the safety of consuming these herbs if you have certain medical conditions, as well as discussing it with your doctor or before beginning a new herbal regimen. We do not recommend our products be used by women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. We sell wholesale and bulk on most items. Please contact us for business relationships and with special orders.

We accept cancellations UP TO 4 hours after you have made your purchase. Please purchase seriously, as we are unable to cancel your order after this time has passed. If you have a problem with your order after you have purchased please contact us immediately.

We are unable to accept returns of opened items. In the case that you'd like to return an unopened item, please let us know within 3 days of receiving your item. Return shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer. We are unable to refund original shipping costs, and a 10% restocking fee will be applied to all returned items.

We currently have a processing and handling time of 1-3 business days. Business days are Monday-Friday. We typically ship most orders using USPS , which takes 2-7 business days. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email from Etsy with your tracking number. Please allow at least 48 hours for your tracking number to update. We are unable to alter destinations or open lost or missing item cases with USPS after the the order has been placed. For the fastest resolution we advise that you contact USPS and open a case with them (we recommend you place a phone call and wait to speak with someone.)

Missing packages due to incorrectly entered address information will not be the responsibility of TheTreeOfLoveShop.

Some international buyers may be subject to import fees/taxes after purchase; these fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Please research VAT and customs requirements prior to purchase.
