Front desk evening staff person was pleasant. Bed was comfy.
Front desk evening staff person was pleasant. Bed was comfy. Hard water perhaps affected the shine on bathroom taps but bathtub had holes where handle.had fallen off
The next morning, heard manager dismissing complaint about the smell of a room from a customer.
Place felt dingy.

Liked the staff at the front desk, very friendly and helpful. Didn't like that the breakfast area wasn't advertised as closed. If they truly thought covid was bad enough to close the breakfast area then their staff should have been wearing a mask. NO ONE on the hotel staff wore a mask.

We went to visit our daughter and family, so didn't do much sightseeing. Sioux City does have some interesting things to see, but isn't a major tourist attraction. We like Sneaky's chicken, Ichiban, and Pizza Ranch.

My God the place was awful.
My God the place was awful. Filthy dirty and the curtains were falling off the windows. There.wad.a very heavy smell of pot throughout the building. This is the type of hotel that should rent by the hour or for 19 dollars a day. 100 a week kind of place

Totally filthy! And smelly!
Totally filthy! And smelly! Awful breakfast, no security, non- working light fixtures, people milling about the outside, gathering at outside windows. We will never stay there again. There are several family members that go back and forth, having this city a great place to stop. We have shared with all of them NEVER to stay here.
The property is conveniently located off I -29 just south of Sioux City. It is a reasonably priced budget hotel located not far from Sioux City airport. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It is located very close to a railroad track but we did not find noise from the railroad to be a problem. The staff was pleasant and friendly. The breakfast was typical budget hotel fare--decent coffee, a small selection of cold cereals and assorted quick oatmeal packs and some assorted breads for toasting as well as a waffle maker.
Rite after we checked in I was called back into work,so our stay was only a few hours. The hotel fraudulently charged another 50.00 saying we didn't check out on time, when we had left at 4 am way before the 11 am checkout time. Apparently they do this to a lot of there customers. This is not what a professional company should act or treat there customers.
Breakfast was great, the room was quiet and very comfortable.
I felt the price was fair and worth the clean room and the comfortable bed.
We will definitely stay at this hotel again when we come through Sioux City.
The lobby is warm and inviting, I Like the close access to the breakfast area.
We had a pleasant room in this beautifully restored historic property. We appreciated the free, on-site parking that could be accessed through the rear door. The hotel was in walking distance to the Public Museum and the Art Center.
Breakfast was substandard compared to other hotels that I have stayed at. This hotel only provided fruits, yogurts and muffins. Drinks was also limited to juices and coffee. The location of the hotel at downtown was good.
Perfect central location to restaurants, shopping areas, and downtown Sioux City. Staff was great, and the place was beyond sparkling clean! Perfect type of hotel stay with so many amenities beyond a bedroom!
Great customer service! The hotel was in a great location for gas and food. The rooms were very comfy. The breakfast was good as well. I liked how they had warm breakfast sandwiches and hot coffee.
I always stay here when I come to Sioux City, IA! It is my first and only choice. The rooms are always clean and spacious. I have not had a bad nights sleep and love the mattresses and pillows!
Rooms were fantastic. Clean, updated (except tub and shower). Beds, sheets and pillows are very comfortable.
Nice convenient bar and restaurant attached to hotel. Great town location.
Advertised for a swimming pool. One of the reasons we choose this hotel. No pool being demolished. Not even an apology from staff just getting rid of it
