Costa Teguise
Sun-kissed Costa Teguise on Lanzarote’s east coast is a family holiday favourite thanks to its beautiful town square and the glittering beaches on its doorstep. It’s all about seafood restaurants and splash-happy days out here, so get ready for a fantastic blend of relaxation and good old-fashioned fun in the sun.
There’s not one, not two, but five beaches to choose from in Costa Teguise. Palm-lined Playa Bastian’s a popular plot, while the soft sands of Playa Cucharas make it a slice of paradise. Looking for a quiet spot? Playa del Jablillo’s the place to go.
Dining in the square
The town square’s a real hub at night. You’ll find a choice of laid-back restaurants serving home favourites and Lanzarote specialities. Choose a seat outside for the best view of the bandstand that’s right in the middle of the square – pitch up for live sets most nights of the week.
Modern art v waterparks
The former house and studio of César Manrique, the island’s most famous artist, is a 20-minute drive away. It’s a real vision, with rooms built into underground volcanic bubbles and a public art gallery hanging original Picassos. Flip this on its head at Costa Teguise Waterpark for thrilling flumes and slides.

Trip in May
13 Jun 2024
We was in block C, close to kids pool which was fab however the room was really run down especially the bathroom which had mold and paint flaking, cocktails were horrible but the spirits were fine. Food got worse as the week went on with my partner having to go to the restraunt staff with another family on holiday as the chicken was literally raw. Birds were also picking at the snack bar as there is no staff to man it 😂 pool was cold but no worse than anywhere else and was nice once in. Entertainment team went on a break 11-3 everyday & don't work Sundays? Short walk to bars etc. on day 3 we literally ate out every meal. Cleaners came one day at 3pm, there was cups and plates left out by neighbouring balcony since we arrived that never got cleaned even though staff walked over the grounds past them. Paid cheap and didn't expect the world was more the cleanliness 🙂

Winter sun
14 Jan 2024
Great weather for a winter break. Hotel was all inclusive and about 15 minutes walk from beach. We were surprised by the amount of children on holiday which meant that it was a bit loud by the pool some times. Food was okay with plenty of variety but nothing special. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, restaurant was very busy and service often appeared rushed. Entertainment was mixed but with some very good acts. Room was always kept clean. In summary at the lower end of our expectations for all inclusive - if we visited resort again we would probably choose somewhere smaller, maybe nearer to the centre as the beach was great and maybe eat out more in town.

Remember its a 3 star!
30 Sep 2023
We had a great family holiday! This hotel is a 3 star and people need to remember that. We had 4 cockroaches in our room over 2 weeks and seen 2 on the paths outside and we have stayed in the canaries many times and cockroaches live there....this hotel doesn't have an infestation! Now the food.... we thought it was very good and yes its a little repetitive when your there for 2 weeks but we enjoyed it especially the breakfast and a special mention to Manuel in the restaurant as he always taken the time to chat to my 8 year old and was very friendly and worked hard. The snack bar is just burgers, hotdogs and chips which was great for kids. The reception staff though were very grumpy especially the lady so if you need anything from them wait until the lady isn't on. The rooms are very dated and I think even just new curtains and sofas would help update them a little bit, but they were clean and we slept great. we requested a quiet area of the hotel and was given block E which is the furthest block away from the pool area and it was very quiet and we loved sitting on the balcony of an evening looking out over the back area of the hotel. The pool area was great but we did have to get up early to reserve sunbeds and when the cleaners jet washed the sunbeds 1 day he jet washed the muck into the grids around the pool and some of it when into the pool and some was left on the side which wasn't nice to walk over, this effected my star rating along with grumpy reception lady and also when people are drunk the staff need to stop serving them and don't carry on giving them drinks until they cant walk and run about the hotel shouting at night. Now lastly the animation team were all AMAZING! they worked so hard every minute of the day and night to make sure everyone had a fun holiday and they are the best thing about this hotel and my son loved joining in with them. over all this hotel is a 3 star and you get what you pay for, if the rooms get refurbished we will return. We had a great family holiday and thats the main thing, thanks for the memories BlueBay.

disappointed

We stayed here as a family holiday with our daughter, son in law and granddaughter, for 9 nights I’ll start with the positives, the rooms were of a good size with a separate bedroom and a kitchenette, the food was good we always found something to eat,the negatives include pool area was good and kept clean, however the sunbed olympics started very early with folk trying to get “their” sun beds each day but sadly this wasn’t controlled by the hotel even though it was supposed to be, there were occasions where towels left on beds all day without being used, the electronic key cards to access our rooms kept failing 4 times for me and 3 times for my daughter which meant a long trek back to reception and we were on the 3rd floor with no lift, the Wi-Fi kept failing and was offline almost every day which was very inconvenient for my work purposes (I run my own business so needed to keep in touch)the room cleanliness wasn’t good, the first day there the white ankle socks I was wearing were filthy dirty after walking around the room with them on, I informed reception and they said they would speak to the cleaners which didn’t make any difference I placed a small sweet paper on the bathroom floor behind the door which was still there when we left despite reporting the bathroom flooding as the shower didn’t drain quickly enough, the all inclusive cocktails were awful they were pre made out of a machine and even the barman admitted they were rubbish, the entertainment was very poor which meant that we,like many other guests spent our nights either at the outdoor bar or in our rooms playing cards, not much fun for a 9 year old, and so to cap it all we enquired about a room extension for our last day as we had a late flight home we were told that there wasn’t any available, ok do you have a curtesy room for us to get showered and changed? the answer was no,but you can get a shower outside by the pool ! , we ended up having to use the disabled toilets by reception to get washed and changed, when it was my turn a member of staff opened the door from outside whilst I was standing there naked, they had knocked and I did reply “one moment please” in English and Spanish but they still opened the door , so all in all there were so many little niggles that could easily be rectified so make this hotel a decent 3 star but will require some effort and talc.

Nice holiday!
01 Aug 2023
This hotel does so much right, the room is ok,good size TV, English channels, excellent WiFi all over the hotel.
The food is good, can be a bit the same towards the end of the holiday.
The entertainment for the kids are brilliant, day and night!
The grounds are clean and tidy.
The not so good which can improve, are the beds! Solid mattress, hardly slept.
No ice creams, pancakes etc as part of the all inclusive,so just burgers, hotdogs and chips. Every day at the snack bar
No cocktails or named spirits (pay only)
Not much entertainment, just the one room so bit boring at night.
Pool tables etc 2 euros a go. Which frequently ate your money.
The buildings are ok ,need a bit of tlc in areas
Reception aren't very friendly so don't expect a smile.
If you have a noisy neighbour you will hear every movement, unfortunately our last night was a sleepless one.

Wouldn't go back
07 Sep 2022
Definitely wasn't impressed with this hotel.
The hotel is in need of maintenance, the fences around the football courts were dangerous, I dread to think what would happen if someone fell on to them.
The food wasn't great, everything was very cheap and some nights there wasn't really anything I could eat and I'm generally not a fussy eater. One night I went to get some grated cheese and there was a big chunk of mould in the middle of it which just turned me off the food completely.
The rocks on the walls were loose which we only realised when one came off and hit my 3 year old in the face and caused a deep cut just underneath his eye. The response from the Guest Relations Manager was that the walls were decorative and told my 3 year old he shouldn't be climbing on them. Firstly he wasn't climbing, he had put his hands on the top of the wall to try and look over it and the rock came off, secondly, if that was the case then there should be signs up saying that rocks are loose and to be careful. I was absolutely appalled at her response. My son now has a little scar under his eye which I hope will fade with time. I'm just so glad it didn't hit him an inch up otherwise he literally could have damaged his eye and the hotel just disnt care.
You can never get a bed around the pool because people are getting up at 4am to claim the beds and the hotel do nothing about it. The hotel say that they move the towels off unoccupied beds but I never saw any evidence of this, one day we sat at the pool bar from around 9am until lunchtime and there were beds with towels on and no-one came to them and the hotel didn't move the towels off! We ended up having to go out every day so never got our moneys worth of the all inclusive. Very very disappointing....would definitely not go back.

Nice hotel, good area
05 Sep 2019
Nice hotel let down by the food, plenty of it but bland. Swimming pool was a lot smaller than the photos on website with too many children using inflatables, no spare room to change when on late flights. Poor beds.
