Selecting the proper pattern size is important so please read the following carefully. When selecting a pattern choose a size that gives your dog the best overall fit. Girth is most important then Neck and then Length.

When measuring your dog use a soft tape measure keeping it a bit loose - you should be able to slide a finger between the dog and tape.

NECK: Measure around the widest part of the neck where collar sits.

GIRTH: Measure behind front legs where chest starts.

LENGTH: Measure from base of neck (between the shoulder blades) to where tail starts.

I just want to say I have been making dog clothes for several years. I have simplicity, McCalls and many other patterns. And trust me I have them all. Then I found you.
I love that when someone contacts me and says I want this and gives me measurements I can use your patterns and get a perfect fit every time. I love the wide ranges of sizing you have because you don’t get that with other patterns. So the other day me and my granddaughter boxed up all the patterns in the file cabinet and all I use now are your patterns. I love them more than you will ever know.
