Where would Santa be without his trusty Reindeer? There are a whole lot of presents that need delivering every year and I am pretty sure he'd not be able to get them all delivered without a little Reindeer magic!
This Reindeer quilt block will be a great addition to your seasonal patchwork and quilting projects. You can make the block with a red nose to look like Rudolph or you can make the nose Dark Brown to make it look like one of the rest of the team!
This PDF pattern includes full sized templates for creating the Reindeer in two different block sizes: 6″ and 10″
The pdf INSTRUCTIONS feature:
:: Coloured illustration of the block
:: Blank diagram for colouring/planning fabric placement
:: Diagrams for joining the FPP sections, including where it’s important to match seams
:: Guidance on printing the pattern pieces the correct size
The PATTERN PIECES feature:
:: Digitally drawn pattern pieces
:: 1/4″ seam allowances on all sections
:: Reversed so you create a block that looks exactly as the illustration
:: Coloured and labelled to make construction as easy as possible
:: Laid out to print on A4 or Letter paper. One larger piece will need to be joined together before starting to sew (guidance provided)

DIFFICULTY
I would recommend this pattern to someone with intermediate FPP skills. The Reindeer block has a number of smaller pieces and quite a few sections to join together. There aren't however too many seams to match when joining the sections (refer to green circles on page 4). The smaller 6" block in particular will be easier if you have an add an eighth ruler.
This pattern assumes that you already know how to paper piece so there are no FPP technique tips included with the instructions (see my website for tutorials and On Demand Classes).
