Is it cold and dreary outside your window? Time to make yourself a big, ole, scrummy hibernation outfit.
This huge oversized hoodie is made from super yummy polar fleece with a super scrumptious sherpa fleece lining. Or maybe you’ll make it with polar fleece for the lining too, to make it a much easier sew. There are so many adorable fleeces available now, who can resist?
The body of the hoodie measures 110cm (43”) from front neck to bottom hem and 100cm (39”) wide and will fit an adult up to a men’s 6XL size. There are instructions to reduce the body size to fit a tween or smaller adult if preferred.
This hoodie isn’t a very difficult pattern in itself, but using sherpa fleece can be very challenging for a beginner. For that reason, I recommend this pattern for a more confident sewer. If you are relatively new to sewing and want to try it, I would recommend using polar fleece with a limited amount of stretch and fluffiness for both the outside and lining. I am happy for you to sell your made items as long as you do not mass produce, but please credit Teapot and Snail as the source of your design on your store.
