Wooden dowel rods will be perfect for macrame, weaving tapestry, quilt, textile, embroidery and others. Handcrafted dowels are great display hangers for fiber art wall decor. Wood dowels are unique wall hanging solution.

The listing includes only 3 dowel rods. Cord in not included.

The dowels may be created in 2 diameters - 1.2 cm (1/2") and 1.6 mm (5/8").

We offer dowels of 7"-26" lengths. Custom sizes are possible, please message us.

The materials are beech, maple or alder (depending on which wood is in stock).

Our dowels are 100% handmade. Each dowel is made by hand by my husband Volodymyr.

All of them are polished by hand and covered with hypoallergenic lacquer. It means that every tool will be unique, so the measurements may vary a little bit.

How to Custom Order:
1. Write us what you would like to order. Specify the colour, size and amount of the items.
2. We'll answer you and will make some arangements concerning price for your order and the processing time.
3. After the agreement and confirmation of the personal order, you'll have to make a payment.
4. The next step is creating your order.
5. Then you'll receive a photo update of your ordered item.
6. Finally, your order will be sent to you.

We would be glad to make something special just for you so write us!

We use wool, cotton and merino roving. Those are very eco-friendly and delicate materials. As any other wool item, our products can't be washed in hot water. The water temperature should be 30 C and the wall hangings should be washed in delicate mod without wring. The wool shouldn't be ironed. You should use steamer instead. Dry cleaning is recommended. The care instructions are not very strict but still you should treat wool items delicately.

Our wood products are covered with lacquer after the necessary treatments. That is why the exposure to high temperatures and water are undesirable.
