The single crochet stitches for these mittens are worked in the center ‘V’ of each stitch, which results in the split single crochet (ssc) or waistcoat stitch. Easy to follow instructions. Im a self taught (youtube) advanced beginner crossing over into intermediate. The Bee fingerless gloves were easy to make and fun to watch the colorwork develop. It was definately a labour of love as I dropped to a 3mm to get the gauge. Good yarn sub is Lang Yarns "Jawoll" superwash wool. The yellow is identical to the suggested color.
