This fun heart quilt pattern consists of one foundation paper pieced quilt block repeated plus borders. It was designed as a scrap buster quilt but can also be used with yardage and pre-cuts.
Along with the quilt instructions, there is a link to a video tutorial. The step-by-step tutorial makes this a good beginner-friendly foundation paper piecing pattern that anyone can follow.
The quilt includes to quilt pattern sizes - a crib, baby or toddler size (48" x 57") and a throw size or lap size (66" x 75").
Templates and fabric requirements are also included for making just one block so that you can use the pattern for other projects including my free Scrap Blocks Quilt Along series on YouTube (a scrap blocks sampler quilt that includes the heart block from this pattern).
The pattern includes fabric and cutting instructions for two colorways but there are loads of ways you can mix up the colors and make this quilt your own.
My favorite idea for this pattern is to make one heart quilt block with the scraps of each quilt you gift to someone else so you can remember all the quilty love you have sent out into the world!
However you use this pattern I hope you enjoy and I am always on hand to answer any question!
