Monogram Alphabet Mandala Papercut Shadowbox.

This is a digital file download. No physical item will be sent to you.
8 layers of papery goodness for you to cut and assemble yourself. It's not as complicated as it looks!
The base layers are numbered for easy assembly.

This template is for personal and commercial use.

Sized for 8 x 8 inch shadowbox frame (it looks great unframed too!), but can be resized easily with your machine cutting software or through your printer settings.
Add fairy lights between the layers, or leave it unlit. The results will be spectacular.

8 layers assembled with double sided foam tape between the layers will be 1/2" to 1"deep.

This is not a font.
1 file contains the Basic Shadowbox layers. Each letter of the alphabet is a separate file.
Upload or print the Base layers, then upload or print the letter layers then cut. It's very simple and includes instructions for cutting and assembly.

DXF files for Silhouette machines. Zipped file.

PDF files for hand cutting. One file for the base layers. One file for all of the individual letters. (Reversed to cut from the back)

Fine Point Blade. (I am still using the original blade that came in my machine 3 years ago)

Green mat, Cricut - Brand new is too sticky, so I put a sheet of paper down and pull it off a couple of times. If the mat is not sticky enough sometimes small intricate stuff will shred. (I wash my mats with dish soap and water when they get too unsticky and it brings them back to where they need to be.)

MACHINE SETTINGS
For the 67lb paper I cut on Light Cardstock setting. It is just about perfect.

For Cricut Card I cut on the Cardstock setting. Often I have to leave the mat in and cut a second time.

Fabriano Paper - Cardstock setting and cut twice if needed.

This was my first mandala-type of project. My daughter requested this for her cubicle in her first post-college adulting job. She helped pick the colors and assemble, so it was fun to partner with her on the project, as usually I am sitting at the kitchen table by myself doing these things :) I cut at 8.9" for a 9x9 shadowbox.
