Bookworm is equally at home hidden away on a top shelf reading bodice rippers, or sharing Goodnight Moon with the toddlers at nap time.

The example was made with various worsted weight (8 or 10 ply) wool yarns using US size 3/3.25mm needles, but almost any yarn could be used with the corresponding needle size. Bookworm measures approximately 7 inches long & 4 inches tall. But of course size will change depending on choice of yarn & needle.

The body is worked in one piece in the round, and the eyeballs, arms, and book are knit separately & sewn on.
