What a fun beachy project! This easy to make mug rug is perfect for those who love applique! I would say this mug rug is an intermediate level pattern because of the lettering and fussy cutting. When I made mine I used my Brother Scan-n-Cut which made it very EASY. I've included the SVG file to use. If you love fussy cutting then this project is wonderful! I also did a free motion stitch when quilting on all of my lettering which turned out great! You could use a permanent fusible and eliminate the need to stitch down all of the letters.
I have included a download file of SVG's that make this project so much faster and easier if you have a cutting machine. Works with any cutter that accepts SVG cutting files. It will be included in the purchase as a separate download.
Finished mug rug measures 11" x 8.5". A perfect project to make and give as gifts!!
These mug rugs are perfect for snacking and protecting tables and work surfaces. They are great for on the go and are easy to throw in the wash. As a small project, multiplies can be made in one afternoon.
This pattern consists of a cover page, instructions for applique 3 different ways, tracing templates that are true to size and already mirror imaged, and a page of simple and easy to follow instructions.
Because this pattern is available INSTANTLY to you, there will be no refunds on purchases, I hope you understand.
