This year may have seen the 550 frenzy, but New Balance and Teddy Santis' ALD lead the way in the return of the 650, the taller and sleeker version of the fan-favourite. The Boston-based brand lets the popular model take a step back and the 650 take the spotlight as it brings in the end of the year with this latest BB650RBR release of the hi-top counterpart, which reverses the red, black and white tones we saw earlier in the year. A streamlined take on a ‘80s on-court model, it’s a retro revival with a b-ball collegiate colourway taking a nod to team uniforms. A predominantly black leather upper is accented with red at the puffy collar, panelled treading and side wall N logos and last but not least, at the "650” text emblazoned at the forefoot.
