Since I was a child I have enjoyed creating things. When I was 8 my parents gave me a big box of furry material for Christmas and I spent a lot of time making cushions and soft toys (all hand stitched) and at school I loved my art lessons, especially pottery.
As an adult I stopped having time to be creative in the same way but missed it dearly. Then when I got engaged and began planning our wedding I had such fun being inspired by all the wonderful ideas for decorations I promised myself after the wedding I would continue to be creative.
I love a bargain and get a little excited about having a rummage in a charity shop and looking at secondhand things so to be able to create something really unique and one of a kind from something which was past it's original best makes me very happy. I love taking something which is either destined for the bin or unloved and forgotten and finding ways to transform it and bring it back to life.
All the items I sell are things which I would like for myself but my house would be just too full so I hope that they go somewhere and to someone who will love them as much as I have enjoyed creating them x
