The pattern is easy to follow until you get to the flap. I don’t think the directions are quite right but I made it work. Bag looks nice.

This pattern is so much fun to make. It is very clearly written and easy to follow. Video was very helpful.

The pattern looks beautiful, the customer service was excellent, but I could not get past the beginning of the bag, despite my conversations with the seller who was always immediately available, and numerous attempts to get beyond rows 4-5. This pattern would benefit greatly from close up photos of those first five rows. The video tutorial offered helps you understand the placement of the post stitches but the video is not the crochet bag it’s a headband. Photos of stitch placement and at least the first few rows of this bag, (especially with thin mercerized cotton- I bought the recommended cotton) would be helpful. Like many of the other photos, the post stitches on my attempt were not lying on the zigzag pattern and despite 25 years of crocheting everything, I struggled with this and gave up. I may give it another try.
