The main one being an enhanced rear 3.0-type LCD touch screen with 2,359,296 dots resolution. Compare this with the previous A7R III’s 1,440,000 dots and it is clear to see how this Sony camera system is suited to high-level freelance videographers, photographers, and content creators looking for a reliable all-in-one compact camera system. The rear Sony logo has also been removed, whilst you are also afforded an upgraded USB 3.2 “SuperSpeed USB 5Gbps” port and a noticeable improvement in overall battery life.
Incredible Autofocus Performance
The Sony A7R IIIA moves away from the autofocus systems featured in other Sony Compact System & Mirrorless Cameras. This model boasts a huge 399-point focal-plane phase-detection AF and 425-point contrast-detection AF over a 295-point area system. Not only this, the A7R IIIA is capable of continuous AF/AE tracking up to 10fps!
Stunning Video Recording
One inherited features from the Sony Alpha A7R Mark II is the ability to capture 4K UHD footage up to 30fps in the XAVC S format. It has a full pixel readout and no pixel binning. The camera actually captures 5K of information and in doing so, oversamples to produce stunning and highly detailed 4K footage. If that wasn't enough, you can also capture up to 120fps for 5x slow motion at 100mbps
Shooting in Low-Light Conditions
The power of the Sony A7R IIIA features a wide ISO range of 100-32,000 which is expandable to 50-102,400. This combined with the powerful 42.4MP back-illuminated sensor and massive 15 stops of dynamic range means that you are able to retain unbelievable quality, even in low light conditions.

Buy now pay later
The Buy Now Pay Later option comprises a 36 month loan following a six month deferral period.
During the six-month deferral period, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is partially repaid within six months, the remaining interest will be adjusted to reflect the new balance. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, however, a £29 early settlement fee is payable in respect of repayments within these six months.
Following the six-month deferral period, Novuna Personal Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 18.9% APR on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Novuna Personal Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six-month deferral period is due to elapse.
