Men's Crochet PDF Pattern, Patchwork Hooded Cardigan
Skill Level: Intermediate
I am not going to lie to you, this is a big project. At 21 pages this may be the longest pattern I have ever or will ever write, BUT, there is nothing complex in there, just lots to do.
This crochet pattern is for a menswear cardigan, made to display patchwork and multicolours. The construction is in stages
- Bodywork
- Button and Button Hole bands
- Hood, Collar or Both
- Sleeves
It is made with Double Knit (DK) yarns and a 4.5mm crochet hook. The finished tension is soft and very comfortable to wear.
The front and back are made of four pieces sewn together. The collar/hood is made of crochet squares, and there are written instructions and a diagram for this. There are instructions for an optional inner hood as well. Sleeves are made separately and sewn on. Sleeves taper to a nice fit around the wrist.
There is a photographic guide on all elements of the design, especially focusing on any special construction. Special Stitches are clearly described.
There is a lot of stretch in the finished item, so the sizing is only approximate. I have listed this pattern as "intermediate" because of pattern techniques. You are purchasing the .pdf pattern only, which includes full written instructions. One purchase gives you all sizes.
Instant download link provided after payment. This can be found on your confirmation page. You can also access your pattern at anytime in the "purchases" link found under the "you" link above.
