Really big comfortable beds, two pillows! Lots of bathrooms/toilets (no ventilation so did get hot though). Fun atmosphere and music off at 10 so if you wanted a quiet night was possible. Staff were nice and helpful & everywhere kept clean.

Perfect hostel for meeting people. They have activities everyday, you can book your tours directly with them and they have a restaurant that serves good food (not exactly cheap, but fair prices). Rooms are good and beds were comfortable. Cold showers were better than the hot showers, these last ones didn't have strong water.

Mad Monkey Siargao is the a great place to start your stay in Siargao and meet some friends (international and local). The staff is incredible - super friendly, engaged and helpful. They really make this place special. It has all facilities needed for backpackers (ATM, bar with a restaurant, organized trips, water dispenser, integration events, motorcycle rental, laundry next by and many many more). It's clean and the beds are big. It's a party hostel but the parties in the bar end at 10pm and then everyone who wants go to the city. I really recommend the place!

Mad monkey is all about party. I met Dredd last year in mad monkey Panglao. He’s always a good vibe and nice tour guid. Jovan is another party star. When you do island hopping in Siargao, DO NOT join the normal one, the islands are very basic, nothing much to see. Join Jovan’s party boat, everyone gets f**cked at 10am already. A good day of party and beautiful view is guaranteed.

They have the most trustworthy staff. I became good friends with Lloyd, King, Jovan, Enzo and everyone else when I first came to the island and didn't know anyone. They took care of everything, even things that aren't part of the hostel's amenities. They treat you like a friend, not just like a guest. Adriane is very hands-on in managing the hostel, even being very particular about the type of tapa they serve. The bed in the dorms are so big and comfortable, something I didn't expect in a hostel dorm. Their restrooms are always clean and fully stocked. Food is always delicious and fresh. The free shots at the bar after 8pm are actually very cost-efficient for getting yourself drunk before going to parties. Lol. I'll miss this place and I'll definitely come back.

The staff are ace! Jovan, King, Dredd and Generose made my stay in siargao amazing! It was easy to connect with other solo travellers and the vibe was fun with activities every night. I had a minor issue with my booking but they were quick to resolve it for me. The showers and bathroom is located out the room which is what I prefer so there’s no one waking each other up at night etc.
