Image Quality
This lens is equipped with an advanced and intricate optical structure that enables a high level of image quality. This is achieved with an arrangement of 12 lens elements in 13 groups, including the use of one ED (Extra-Low Dispersion), one Super ED and three aspherical elements - all of which ensure outstanding resolution. These lenses result in edge-to-edge sharpness across the ultra-wide 87ﾟ angle of view.
Performance
This lens features a huge angle of view that is complemented by a constant F1.4 maximum aperture, making it an excellent lens for vlogging, content creation, videography and stills. It is this circular 7-bladed aperture that is impressively bright and provides enhanced control of depth of field, as well as producing beautifully smooth bokeh. This is all the more impressive when you combine it with the minimum focusing distance of just 17cm.
In addition, this lens is fitted with two linear autofocusing motors that are designed to deliver fast, accurate and reliable focusing for both photography and videography. Combining all these features makes for an impressively versatile wide-angle lens.
Construction
As you’d expect from any Sony lens, this lens is built to the highest standards. It has a sleek, stylish and tactile construction that is dust and moisture resistant. As well as this, useful controls such as an aperture ring and aperture click switch will make your shoot as efficient as possible - whether indoors or outdoors. Weighing just 219g and only 69.5mm in length, this is the most compact and lightweight lens on the market (when compared to the closest competitor lenses).

Why we love the Sony E 15mm f1.4 G Lens:
Use this lens for:
- When mounted Sony’s crop sensor E mount cameras, it gives a 35mm equivalent focal length of 22.5mm. This means it’s an ideal lens for landscape photography and architecture.
- Equally, because it is so compact and lightweight, it feels well balanced on Sony’s APS-C crop sensor camera bodies.
- As much as this lens is ideal for landscapes, it also lends itself to event photography like weddings or concerts.
Look and feel:
- It’s lightly weather-proofed so there’ll be no scrambling indoors the moment the weather takes a turn for the worse.

Buy now pay later
The Buy Now Pay Later option comprises a 36 month loan following a six month deferral period.
During the six-month deferral period, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is partially repaid within six months, the remaining interest will be adjusted to reflect the new balance. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, however, a £29 early settlement fee is payable in respect of repayments within these six months.
Following the six-month deferral period, Novuna Personal Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 18.9% APR on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Novuna Personal Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six-month deferral period is due to elapse.
