Hand Embroidered Felt Alphabet Ornaments

I've been embroidering since I was just a tiny frockdolly & I also read a lot of books about the craft, so I was inspired to create these hand embroidered letters having had such fun with my embroidered baubles every Christmas! These are an excellent way to celebrate the uniqueness that is your name, using your favourite colours - this is all about you!

I use a variety of traditional & folk inspired stitches & I tend to freestyle a little as I go along (ok, ok, I make it up, but the results are so pretty!). I also use small patches of felt in contrasting or matching colours to add texture and tone.

I have all sorts of colours of felt and threads in my stash so I can create to match your favourites or a particular colour scheme, it's up to you! Choose your main colour from the list below, and add your three additional colours in the 'Personalisation' box. Don't forget to tell me what letter you'd like! As you can see from the listing pictures, I am steadily working towards having a full alphabet to show you, but don't worry if your letter isn't there, I can definitely embroider it for you!

The back is left plain in the same colour as the front & each is built on stiffened insert so they're not all wibbly wobbly! I've attached a ribbon hanging loop to the top so the letter can be hung on a wall, door handle, along a shelf....basically, anywhere you please!

I can also add shorter or longer ribbon ties depending on how you want to use your letter, just drop me a note to let me know what you'd like!

Each letter measures approximately 5 inches (13cm) wide by 5 1/2 inches (14cm) tall.
