The card is overall great but for god sake Overclockers UK, where is my damn Haribo sweets! D:
So, out of the box the card performs well in games so far, placing it between 4080 and 4070ti performance. Drivers need a bit of work though, I noticed high idle power draw, this is a known issue persisting since day 1. I stream gameplay as well and the OBS stream is very blocky compared to the Nvidia cards , I hope they fix this with future driver updates, also while encoding it draws max power for some reason, the Nvidia cards don't do that. It runs pretty warm and I did not notice the fans stopping, due to the high idle load probably. Apart from that the size is very welcome for smaller builds, and the power draw is not massive as well, 300 watt for performance above a 3090 is not bad. I think it has potential and with the price drops and game bundle makes it a very good buy, plus there are aftermarket water blocks for it easily accessible which will improve on its performance further.
The card is good for performance and overclocking. However the sound of the fans at max load are very loud(no overclock) and my card had lots of coil whine(I returned it). Good for gaming but I expect more quality out of an £800 card.
