Looking for more eco-friendly, plastic-free swaps for everyday items? Loofah is a natural cleansing sponge, made up of the fibrous skeleton of the loofah plant, and it can replace the traditional plastic shower puff or body polisher. Natural loofahs create gentle friction, making them perfect for helping along the process of shedding dead skin cells and increasing localised blood flow (improving circulation), effectively tackling dull-looking skin. Simply soak them in water to soften, and lather up with your favourite soap bar!

Choose from 2 loofah sizes: Small (approx 7cm long) or Large (approx 12.5cm long) - both are unbleached and come on a cotton string.

Increase the lifespan of your loofah by air drying between washes...hang it up on the handy cotton string! It can also be machine washed, if needed, then left to air dry. You can even occasionally soak your loofah in warm water with a few drops of peppermint essential oil - not only will it smell great, the oil has antimicrobal properties that help to deter bacterial growth.

When the loofah reaches the end of its life, you can safely compost it, or dispose of it in the knowledge that it will biodegrade (and not sit in landfill for decades like so many plastic shower puffs).

Our loofahs are unbleached, so they appear off-white, and they are approx 15cm long. To save space and reduce your postage costs, we send the loofahs flat - they will inflate to full size (as in the photos) upon contact with water.

All of our items are sent using biodegradable, plastic-free packing materials.

I wanted an eco friendly alternative to my plastic puff. Nothing wrong with this product I just have struggled to get a long with it. Feel that it is much better to use for exfoliation but not for regular use. Product as described and good quality
