This is a crochet pattern to help you make your own amigurumi Unicorn. All patterns are delivered via PDF download.
This Unicorn plush is about 20cm/8in in height when made with DK/light-worsted yarn, and has cute spiral mane that can be easily customised to any colour of the rainbow. You will find this crochet pattern very easy to follow with clear written instructions and lots of process pictures to help you on your way.
This Unicorn pattern is worked in continuous rounds and uses basic crochet stitches (see abbreviations listed below).
Your crochet unicorn will make a wonderful gift for all ages, especially small children who can cuddle and carry it everywhere they go.
If you are gifting this unicorn to children under the age of three, using plastic safety eyes is not recommended for safety reasons. This pattern will show you how to easily use yarn as a safe alternative.

/ PATTERN NOTES
You will find this crochet pattern is very easy to read with clear written instructions and lots of process pictures to help you on your way.
This Unicorn pattern is worked in continuous rounds and uses basic crochet stitches (see abbreviations listed above). The best part about this Unicorn is its colourful spiral mane, that can be easily customised in your own colours or by increasing the size of the spirals to create your own unique unicorn.
☞ What yarn can I use? This pattern is best suited to cotton or acrylic yarn. However, your crochet toy can be made using most yarn types. For the finished size of your unicorn to be 20cm, using a dk weight yarn is recommended. In order to create a larger crochet toy, you can substitute for a thicker yarn. With this in mind you will also need to increase your hook size.
☞ Hook size? The crochet hook you choose will depend on the thickness of the yarn you are using. For example, it is recommended that you use a smaller hook than what is written on your yarn label. As this will prevent your stuffing from showing through your work.
