Most items in my shop are made-to-order item. Each item is made to fit your personal measurements.

Made-to-order items are NOT eligible for returns, as they are made for your measurements. Please double-check your measurements when submitting them to us. If you are in doubt about measurements, please message us for help.

While we make every effort to create a perfect fit, dressmaking is an art and a perfect fit cannot be guaranteed due to long distance. As a result, you may need to have a few alterations done locally once you receive your item.

Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item after you receive it.

All care instructions are included on a card in the package when I ship it, but if you ever have questions on care, please feel free to message me! Each item is made with durability in mind, so if it is made of cotton, linen, or polyester fabric, I try to construct it so that it can still be washed. However, items made of fibers such as silk and wool must be dry cleaned.

Most items have been washed and dried before they are made, in order to take care of shrinkage. As a result, the seller is not responsible for any allergies to the detergent used in washing.

A sample is the first item I make of that pattern, design, and/or size. Some samples have been worn by myself or a model for a photoshoot and are discounted accordingly. If a sample has been worn for photography purposes, a shift was worn under it to protect the item.

A sample is ready-to-ship immediately and all sizing information is provided in the listing. I measure the item after it is made and list each measurement. Samples are sold at a discounted price of up to 40% off, since there are no size or fabric options.

I also try to stock some ready made items in a variety of sizes and styles. If you need an item quickly, please peruse at my ready-to-ship section.

Please see each listing for estimated shipping dates. I use USPS for shipping, and two upgrades are available when you check out: Priority Mail and Priority Mail 1-Day. Tracking is available on all packages through the USPS.

PLEASE NOTE: Although I will do my best to get the order to you on time, I cannot account for the USPS. Due to the issues with the USPS since the pandemic began, items are often taking longer to ship. Even a Priority Mail 1-Day package took three days for a customer this past fall. Please keep this in mind when ordering.

If an item is labeled "Ready to Ship," it will be shipped in 3-5 days. "Made to Order" items will be shipped within the window specified on the listing.

Gift wrapping and notes are available; please just add this to your cart when checking out. If you have preferences for the wrapping, please specify in the "note to buyer" box.

If the commission you want is currently out of stock, don't worry! It will be relisted and in stock as soon as I have availability. All sewing for Stitchin' Addiction is done by me and only me, so I can only offer limited commissions at any given time.

You will receive a measurement worksheet about 48 hours after you order. It will include photos & a video link showing exactly how to measure. If the measurement worksheet is not filled out within 3-5 business days, the item will be made to standardized sizing.

- Request a mock-up add-on (additional fees will apply)
- Request a Zoom consultation (additional fees may apply) for help with your measurements.
