Once the police station of this lively market town, our atmospheric Georgian building has been reinvented as a cosy country pub with rooms in the centre of Northallerton, where locals and visitors, families and dogs are all welcome.

Where a custody suite with cells once stood, is now our family-friendly restaurant and bar where good food and drinks are served in a relaxed setting, while our comfy new rooms are ones you’ll definitely want to spend time in.

Set between the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors in the beautiful rolling Herriot countryside and with historical cities including York and Leeds nearby, The Northallerton Inn is an ideal base for a break away.

The Northallerton Inn is a lovely place to come home to after enjoying the spectacular Herriot countryside, the North York Moors, Yorkshire Dales and coastline.

Perfectly placed in the centre of pretty Northallerton, it’s a great choice to stay for exploring North Yorkshire, Hambleton, Richmond and Ripon and its wealth of attractions including Wensleydale Railway, Mount Grace Priory, Betty’s Tearooms, The National Centre for Birds of Prey and Kiplin Hall. The Northallerton Inn offers accommodation close to RAF Leeming too.

Our dog friendly rooms extend a warm welcome to four-legged friends too, meaning you’ll never have to leave your canine behind! Simply add this option during the booking process and enjoy a wonderful stay with your dog by your side (£15 per dog per night).

Flexible, ensuite accommodation choices include king size double, twin and single rooms, with family suites and designated dog friendly room options available. We have a number of fully accessible rooms suitable for wheelchair users.
