Custom player character sheet for D&D 5e, all black & white.
Created by extensive digging in public domain libraries, and collaging and reworking everything I could get my hands on. Mostly following a gothic(-ish) chalcography aesthetic, with graphics ranging in origin from the 15th to 19th century.
I had several character concepts in mind when I created this -
- A noble fighter, self taught in the ideals of chivalry, in opposition to their house, historically dominated by necromancers.
- An artificer, trying to combine scientific understanding with the occult, attempting to create the most perfected Knowledge.
- A paladin of a dying god, who've lost close to all of its followers, now only having fallen ruins with faded signs.
But, of course, there are many, many more possible. I am sure you have far better suiting characters for this sheet, than my amateurish creations!
The design is currently in A4 format. There is versions of some of the sheet pages, for paper sized 8.5x7 inches. I also have a lightweight version with far fewer fields of only the first page - the one with character stats e.t.c. - in 8.5x11. Please contact me if you want to know more about them:)
I might create versions for other formats if needed, depending on how busy I am - contact me, and I can see what I can do!
It includes 4 PDF pages:
1: Character stats e.t.c.
2: Backstory/Appearance/Personality
3: Equipment/Inventory
4: Spellcasting (incl. spell slots)
I have included the pages both in separate files (inside the "individual pages" zip) and in one combined file - for those who want to print on both sides of the paper. There is also a form fillable version of the combined file, graciously provided by one of my customers!
I have tried to keep functions general. Such as the "Counter" on the first page, meant for things like Ki, Rages, or Action Surges - you name it!
The dice in the images are all from DiceEnvy.
I recommend checking out Bookwyrmlings incredible character sheets, who inspired the concept behind this character sheet.
Thanks to the Locked Tomb bookseries for inspiring me to create more ~gothic~ designs.
