Materials: maple ply

Its geography time, with continent trays! These materials are great in so many ways! Each wooden tray has a small lip around the edge, and has the countries from each continent engraved on the inside of the trays.

This set has unlimited potential for learning value. You can do biome study by loading up the tray with wildlife, natural materials and landforms. Learn about countries within the continents. Cultural studies is a possibility using manipulatives representing different items from different areas, and of course they can be used as stylish trays for small parts or sensory play.

We use Poplar hardwood for all of our rainbows, which can contain naturally occurring streaks of blue purple black and brown, which comes as the tree draws minerals out of the ground. We also use stain instead of many that use paint so that the natural beauty of the wood can show through. This is intentional and can vary from rainbow to rainbow. If you have a request to have a piece with more or less natural coloration (we cannot guarantee none), please do so at the time of ordering as any exchange will require additional shipping charges if natural coloration is the reason for request.
