I worked as a professional archaeologist in Upstate New York for over 16 years. Making maps using GIS software was one of the skills I gained along the way. I quickly found that I had a passion for both the technical and design aspects of map making. The combination of information, color, and cartographic principles can produce visually stunning compositions.

In 2017, I left my job and longtime home in Upstate New York to move to northern New Jersey with my family. The fresh start and clean slate of our new home allowed me to finally follow through with my “maybe someday” dream of starting a little Etsy shop to make and sell beautiful maps.

I love all aspects of my work from choosing where I will map next to choosing color palettes. Building up my Etsy shop and sending maps to my customers all over the United States is some of the most enjoyable work I have ever done. I hope my maps make you happy or warm the hearts of your homesick loved ones.
