Terracotta Velvet Scrunchie

This scrunchie is made with 100% silk velvet and dyed using madder to create a terracotta color. They are medium size and feature a cute little monogram label. Dyed and sewn in our Detroit studio.

✽ Wraps twice around a ponytail and looks very cute on the wrist as an accessory.

✽ Measures 5" in diameter. Features a Rosemarine Textiles monogram woven label.

✽ Dyed using madder.

Our Process:

Each scrunchie is cut, dyed and sewn in our studio. We use the plant dye madder to achieve this terracotta clay pink color. Scrunchies are dyed by hand in small batches.

Care information:

Scrunchies can be hand washed using a pH neutral soap in tepid water. Lie flat on a towel or drying rack to dry. If the it wrinkles, gently steam or hand wash and lie flat or hang dry. We recommend using Dr. Bronner's Castile soap and hanging to dry.

Shipping:

We ship as plastic free and low waste as possible by using recycled paper padded mailers, and 100% recycled, 50% consumer waste made poly mailers when necessary.

We utilize sustainability conscious practices to limit water usage and fabric waste in our production. We work exclusively with plant dyes and natural fibers that are compostable. Rosemarine Textiles is

For bridal bouquets we recommend about 3 yards for a small to medium draping effect and 5 yards for a long dramatic drape. On a bridesmaid bouquet we use about 2.5 yards per bouquet - one spool should be enough for two bridesmaid bouquets. Boutonnieres use about 10"-15" of ribbon. For invitations we recommend estimating about 18" per invitation if tying around a card in a bow.

I love them so much!! At first glance they looked big, but when I put it on it stood out a lot more on my head than your average scrunchie which I really appreciated. Love the aesthetics. The fact that it’s handmade and naturally plant dyed makes it even better!

So cute and soft, but grippy enough that it stays in my hair and holds position. Really pretty dye work. I bought 4 of the velvet scrunchies and they’re all gorgeous. I’m really happy after eyeing these up for months that I finally decided to buy some for myself.
