The Simple Life

Growing up on a farm in central Pennsylvania, I learned to crochet from my grandmother at a young age and began selling my finished items at a local artisan village when I was older. I worked for many years with women that had fiber animals and spun their own yarn and I always found these women so interesting and wanted to try it myself!

Finally my family moved to a small homestead and it allowed me to finally fulfill my dream of raising my children on a farm and be blessed to be able to raise blue faced leicester sheep.

It is a wonderful thing to be able to share what you enjoy with others and it has been so rewarding to be able to run a fiber business out of my home through Etsy. I hope you enjoy my work, as much as I enjoy making it. You can also follow Walnut Farm Designs on Pinterest and Facebook.
