Beautiful and Soulful Things!

I love beautiful things, photography and unique items from the past. As a young woman I enjoyed shopping (and still do!) and would go to garage sales, flea markets and thrift stores, buy vintage items that spoke to my heart, and use them to decorate my home. Even if I didn’t need a piece I would buy it and find a use for it, or give it to someone I know would treasure it.

Buying vintage has always been my passion - wicker, rattan, wood, baskets, art, textiles, glassware, dinnerware and items that bring the outdoors in are what I am drawn to. A soulful home should feel comfortable, lived in, filled with love, plants, and items that make you happy.

What is remarkable is that an item created over 50 years ago is still relevant and useful today because it was well made and well loved. That's what I look for when I'm on the hunt. If it's a piece of furniture I look for good bones, functionality, design and the unexpected uses for it.

Being my own boss is a blessing and the Etsy platform has provided the opportunity to join my passions (photography and the love of vintage) into one venture – Soulful Vintage.
