Our Story

We’re one (not so) big family. Family-run since we began and proud to be a local business, our lovely bunch all work closely together and share a passion for what we do.

Owned and operated by the same family since its founding over a decade ago, Dibor prides itself on being a small business with a lot to offer. The close-knit team of specialist staff who work together behind the scenes have an intimate knowledge not only of our products, but everything that’s important to the company’s values. From our hard-working warehouse team to our dedicated personalisation department, we all put our hearts into everything we do.

Originally established in the historic market town of Harrogate, Dibor still keeps true to its Yorkshire roots today. Now comfortably settled in the very heart of the county’s renowned industrial community, the long-standing textile mill we call home is built from local stone, and surrounded by beautiful green fields and rolling hills. We think there’s no place better suited for our products to live and breathe. To enrich our local roots, Dibor aspires to source unique pieces from all across the globe. We’re glad to offer a wide variety of culturally inspired products to elevate your home décor.

Now more than ever, we’re conscious of the part we all must play in helping the planet, and Dibor is committed to our responsibility to conserve the environment. We source our products from mindful suppliers wherever possible, and a focus on renewable materials is always at the forefront of our minds. In particular, our range of cotton kitchen linen and coco fibre garden accessories were introduced specifically to take the place of synthetic materials without sacrificing quality.

Packaging is another key area of concern, and we regularly review what further measures we can take to ensure minimal waste. A move towards using brown paper has significantly reduced our use of plastic, and where it is still impossible to replace, we have worked closely with specialist suppliers to ensure that any plastic we must use is also completely recyclable.
