Meow Meow Tweet
Like the name suggests, Meow Meow Tweet (MMT) is a quirky, unorthodox, small-batch skincare company that specializes in environmental awareness and sustainability. Founded in 2009 by musicians Jeff Kurosaki and their partner Tara Pelletier, the two were looking for ways to fund their artistic endeavors. They started creating soaps and deodorants as a side project, hoping to bring whimsy and fun into the organic skincare world. They started this off with a name as creative as their concepts‚ Meow Meow Tweet is named after their two cats and a pet bird.
Meow Meow Tweet has its headquarters in upstate New York, and goes out of their way to ensure their ingredients and production live up to their values. Each product is carefully crafted in the US, meaning they have full oversight over the formulation of each and every product. Along with creating vegan, non-toxic, plastic free products, MMT works charitable giving into their monthly routine.
