Punch of Color's Story

Are you looking for a unique party favor or gift? Punch of Color specializes in artistic and creative items for kiddos and beyond! Send kiddos home with a suncatcher at your next party, or gift personalized coloring bookmarks at the next holiday!

I started my shop in 2019 after searching for non-candy party favors for my youngest son's 6th birthday. My son has 2 food allergies and his birthday is very close to Halloween, so I wanted to send the party guests home with some sort of "craft” favor. That is when I started Punch of Color.

When I was young I wanted to be a children’s book illustrator or a teacher. I graduated from Indiana University with a BA in Studio Art and have worked in the not-for-profit art and education world ever since. I have designed and painted sets, created logos and marketing materials, written plays, taught theatre, led a development team and even had my own business designing wedding invitations at one time!

I am inspired by children’s books, simplistic 2D drawings, my kids, and whimsical anything. I create all my designs in Adobe Illustrator or by hand, and I use a Cricut for intricate cuts. I print and cut everything else by hand - Punch of Color is truly a “hand-made” business! If you see a party favor or gift you like but need a custom theme, please contact me for a custom order.
