Our bows are ready to display right out of the box - never squished or crumpled. We spend as much time packaging your item as we do creating it! How bow prices are determined - the price is based on the cost per yard of the fabrics used, size doesn’t necessarily dictate price. Some bows are XL with long streamers & have a mid range price while others may have shorter streamers & have a higher price - this is due to the fabric used - plush velvets, double sided ribbon & embroidered ribbon all carry a higher price per yard. Most of our bows take 40-80 yards of fabric to achieve the stunning spectacle you see in the pictures. Our Limited Edition YuleTide Luxury bows use fabric that cannot be found in local stores with many being embroidered and using nice medium to heavy weight cotton blends, plush velvet or faux duponi. When you touch the fabric, you’ll instantly feel the difference!
Our regular line of tree topper bows use a more economical blend of burlap, canvas, veltex, rayon & polyester blends, with most being in a mid price range.
Christmas bows listed in our Medium Christmas Bow section are not traditionally sized for a tree topper meaning they do not have extra long streamers. They are more suited for wreaths, lanterns, mailboxes or 5ft or shorter tabletop trees.

We are also adding more selection of floral supplies by the stem, bushes & wreath bases. Now you can get your hands on the same lifelike florals used in our pieces! I only work with the best materials & none of these can be found in retail stores. Many of these lifelike stems are real touch, many have a silicone coating to the petals, leaves or stem - look for *Real Touch* in the listing description. All florals are listed with the materials they are made from. Some greenery is made of plastic but it is the highest quality available with UV powder coat or plastic/latex blend for softness. Please read the entire description so you understand exactly what you’re getting.
***No refunds will be given because the size is not what you were expecting based on pictures. We never misrepresent or use photography tricks to make an item seem larger than it is. All pictures are taken on a table, stool, tree or chair & many have an item to scale next to them for size perspective. All measurements are clearly listed so you can use a measuring tape to see the size for yourself.

Sizing details
Please refer to the listing descriptions for sizing information. All of our listings are very specific with measurements & include unfiltered images of our products in fine detail.
Props used to display items are for the buyer to get a general idea of size & to aid in visualizing the item in their space. Props & photographs are not to be considered an actual physical representation of the size of the item. Please use the measurements in the listing to gain an accurate size of the item being purchased.
No returns/refunds are given to buyers due to measurements or items not ‘fitting’. It is the responsibility of the buyer to read the item description fully before committing to purchase
Care instructions
Silk flowers can sustain damage if exposed to the elements for prolonged periods of time. Sun will fade colors, wind and rain can cause items to get dirty or make dyes in ribbon run. We use high quality silks in all of our items, but cannot control the force of nature or the passage of time. Please be sure to limit exposure to the elements as much as possible. Full direct sunlight can affect the bonding of glue, especially during hot summer months. If an item becomes loose, simply re-glue in the original spot.
How is my item shipped?
We use USPS & FedEx to ship our items. We ship using the cheapest method in order to keep costs down for customers.
If you prefer your items ship with FedEx, please contact us prior to your item shipping. FedEx has higher rates in some instances & you may be asked to pay additional shipping charges to have your items shipped via FedEx. FedEx doesn’t ship small dimensional weight boxes, it must meet a specific dimensional weight.
Delivery services are 3rd parties - we have no control over the speed of these services. No refunds are given if your item does not arrive in the delivery time window promised by 3rd parties.
No cancellations or refunds are processed while orders are in transit.
How are bow prices determined?
Our bow prices are determined based by the yard and per fabric. Some fabrics are more expensive from the manufacturer and the bow price will reflect that. Mixing fabrics and adding streamers or requesting longer streamers will raise the price of the bow. It takes approximately 3 yards of ribbon to make a standard florist bow with mid length steamers.
How are your items wrapped?
All of our items are packaged securely and with care. Often, your item will arrive in a brand new box that is sized appropriately for the item however, if we have the opportunity to recycle a box that is in good shippable condition we will. This is an effort to reduce our carbon footprint and we feel strongly that anything that can be recycled should be. Wreaths and arrangements are strapped to one side of the box with zip ties to ensure no movement of the flowers takes place during transport. This is the most effective method of shipping. No extra packing material is included unless needed for breakable containers. Packing materials, even tissue paper, can weigh down, twist or crease silk flowers.
I'm worried that my bow will be squished or wrinkled during shipping, how can I be sure my bow will look as good as the photos?
At Crested Perch, bows are our specialty! We carefully package our bows so that they are ready to use right out of the box with no 'fluffing' required. We stuff each bow loop with tissue paper to ensure the bow stays full and keeps its shape. All streamers are rolled and tucked neatly into the base of the bow so they will not crease or wrinkle. We use custom size boxes specifically for the dimensions of our bows to ensure that there is no movement whatsoever during transit. Shifting and tumbling inside the box is what causes damage to items, so ALL of our products are tightly strapped down or packed to allow no movement of the product. Once you receive the bow, simply remove the tissue paper from the loops and your bow is ready for display!
DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED ITEMS
If we made a mistake, we'll take care of it. If you received a defective or damaged product, please let us know so we can do our best to replace or refund the damaged item. If the item was a one of a kind piece, we may offer a substitution or refund. We do ask for photographs of the damaged item as well as the box it arrived in for claims purposes. Please do not throw away the box or item before emailing us with pictures. You must contact us within 3 days of receipt of the item and return within 5 days. Once we have received the item, the refund will be processed.

Are silk flowers really made of silk?
No, they are not silk. We may use the term ‘silk’ when referring to artificial flowers due to the universally popular phrasing when it comes to faux & artificial flowers. When artificial flowers were first introduced to the market, blooms were comprised of silk materials. As faux florals evolved & demand rose, manufacturers realized silk wasn’t a feasible or cost effective resource for florals. All artificial florals are now made from rayon, cotton, latex, plastic, polyester or other synthetic blends.
Although silk hasn’t been used in decades, the general public still uses the term ‘silk’ when referencing & as such we may use this term to aid customers in their search for our product & general reference to differentiate from fresh florals
Will my item look exactly as pictured or will I have to fluff it?
Certain products will require ‘fluffing’ upon receipt. We ship trees/single stems/wreath bases & garland bases flat to save our customers on shipping fees.
If purchasing a fully made piece (not a base or supply) it will ship just as it appears in the photographs.
We show all of our artificial floral items in pictures as they should appear once ‘fluffed’. This is not to mislead but rather show the item at it’s full potential. Often, our faux florals don’t require much fluffing to achieve the look.
Christmas trees, pine wreath & pine garland bases will always need to be fully fluffed out of the box. Trees will take extra time to achieve the designer look in the pictures but are well worth the effort. Look for “Ships Flat” in listing
