The Everyday Mama Brief is the most comfortable pair of underwear you will ever sew! I designed this underwear while pregnant with my second child using the knowledge I had from maternity underwear I wore during my first pregnancy. This underwear is also a winner during the postpartum period where a high waist comes in handy especially for us c-section mamas. This underwear comes in three versions. Version 1 features a wide knit waistband that tapers off and overlaps in the front which hugs and flatters your baby bump or slims your waistline postpartum. It also features knitted leg bands for a more comfortable fit. Version 2 features a slim knit waistband and leg bands. The waistband fits under your baby bump or near your navel postpartum. Version 3 features a stretch lace waistband and elastic band leg openings. It provides style and comfort during your pregnancy and is high waisted to keep your postpartum bump comfortable.

Difficulty Level: Advanced Beginner.

Sizes: XXS-XXXL

Supplies: Version 1 & 2: Stretch knit with 80% stretch or similar fabric, stretch knit waistband and leg openings, stretch knit or cotton jersey for lining. Version 3: Stretch knit, 80% stretch or similar fabric, 2.5-3” stretch lace waistband, picot or decorative elastic, bow and cotton jersey or stretch knit for lining.

How to Print: The instructions and pattern will print on 8.5” x 11” (letter size) or on A4 paper. Please print the pattern at
“actual size” or 100% on single-sided paper.
